The Tale of Two Bad Mice is written by Beatrix Potter. The story was copyrighted and published in 1904 by Frederick Warne & Co.
This is a very charming story with wonderful illustrations of mice, dollies, a brick dollhouse, and the antics of the mice. The images were also illustrated by Beatrix Potter, in beautiful watercolor.
The pages of this particular book are on a heavy stock, and the quality really shows. The illustrations have not faded and/or darkened as some do, when over 100 years old.
We have digitally cleaned and restored the images where necessary. Each is printed on 8 ½ x 11 inch archival linen paper, lignin and acid free.
The prints are ready for matting using your own pre-cut mat, with either an 8 x 10 or 5 x 7 inch opening.
