If you have looked at other sections of our website, you may have seen the name of author, Thornton W. Burgess. Here is another of his books, from the Mother West Wind series, Mother West Wind “Where” Stories. The book was illustrated by Harrison Cady, and was published in 1918 by Little, Brown, and Company, Boston, MA.
This book is illustrated with very cute pictures of animals in human dress, for the stories are all about where animals get a particular characteristic. The stories are told to a very curious Peter Rabbit. They are moral stories, and quite charming.
The pictures have been digitally cleaned and color restored to a more vivid hue. The images are ready for matting with your own pre-cut mat, with either an 8 x 10 or 5 x 7 inch opening.
Each illustration is printed on 8 ½ x 11 inch archival linen paper, acid and lignin free.
